Swedish bashers Soilwork have checked in with the following update:

"We want to congratulate Sven (Karlsson / keyboards) as he has just become a first time father. We are super stoked for him and his family. Naturally, and with our full support, this means that he will have to sit out on our Australian dates. We promise you that we have done what we could to make these shows work out the best way possible, so Sven’s parts will not be missing. We look forward to see you all soon!"

Karlsson has shared the following message:

"To our fans down under: I have to sit out the upcoming Australian tour with Soilwork since I just became a father. But I’m sure you will have a great time and some awesome shows with the rest of the boys! Will catch you all next time. Cheers!"

Soilwork have released their new album, Övergivenheten. Together with the new album, the band have released a live video for their focus track, "Valleys Of Gloam", that you can watch below.
