SONATA ARCTICA Frontman TONY KAKKO Signs With Reaper Entertainment For HIMMELKRAFT Project; Debut Album To Be Released In March 2025

Secrets hold great power. High up in the icy north, far away from the world, a new clan, a secret society, emerged during sleepless nights. Brought into this world in mysterious alchemical processes by none other than Sonata Arctica genius Tony Kakko, this creature took shape in the long shadow of his globally successful band, lurking, waiting for the right moment.

That moment is now.

Tony Kakko has signed a record deal with Reaper Entertainment for his new project, HimmelKraft.

He explains: "World! We have a contact! Himmelkraft is thrilled to join the ranks of Reaper Entertainment and finally bring this project into the world for the chosen ones to hear, see and...participate in.

It's been a VERY long journey to get to this point, but here we are now. We are taking the first of hopefully many, many steps. I sincerely hope you enjoy this album as much as Himmelkraftians enjoyed creating it. They will see you."

With his self-titled debut, Tony Kakko opens the curtains on his strange new world called Himmelkraft just enough for you to take the first glimpse of what lies beyond - and immediately leave you wanting more. Kakko is a master of storytelling and a shaman of musical emotions. Himmelkraft stages his trademarks in a completely new, unexpected and exciting way.

The album will be released on March 7, 2025. The first single will be released on November 22nd.

HimmelKraft is performed by:

Tony Kakko as Unu O’Four - vocals, keyboards
Pasi Kauppinen as Du O’Four - bass
Timo Kauppinen as Tri O’Four - guitars, banjo
Jere Lahti as Kvar O’Four - drums & percussions
