STREAM OF PASSION vocalist Marcela Bovio and guitarist Eric Hazebroek has issued Part 1 of the band's tour diary from their recent Canadian road trip. An excerpt is available below:

Tuesday, October 13, 2010 - Le Zaricot (St. Hyacinthe)

Marcela: "A nice day starts with a nice breakfast, so I'm thrilled to see that at our hotel in Rimousky we have a complimentary breakfast that includes fruit, high fiber cereals and fresh juice! I had the chance to check my e-mail at the hotel, and I'm excited to know the good people of La Filière Progressive will be coming over to watch the show tonight.

Another round in the car awaits so we get in the bus and start driving to our next destination: Saint-Hyacinthe. The drives are fun as we all joke around and share stories; every pit stop is an excuse to buy sweet treats and silly souvenirs. Endre and Stephan are slurpee fans and enjoy the local product, ending up in what we proclaimed a 'suck-a-thon' in search for the biggest brain freeze.

When we get to the venue we have some time to kill, so some of the guys and I go walking around and kill some time at a local music store; we buy a few useful things, including a much necessary blow dryer with an air diffuser for yours truly =)

Back at the venue we start setting up our stuff and I get the chance to get to know some of the people of UNEXPECT a little bit more; they're extremely cool and nice guys (and gal!), so it's great have the opportunity to chat some before the show. They make some really unique music, BTW, if you haven't checked it out you can do so by visiting their website.

After enjoying the performances of INSTANZIA and MANAHIL is our turn to climb up stage and do our thing; the venue was small, but the crowd was full of energy and that is all that we need to go totally loose. Covered in sweat and done playing we get to chill out at the venue, talk to the crowd and enjoy the show of Unexpect, before packing up to go back to that lovely hotel in Quebec; expectations for the show at L'Impérial are quite big so we start getting excited about it!"
