STYGIA Issue "Drum Sessions" Update

Guitarist Todd Seitz from Boston-based progressive metallers STYGIA has issued the following update:
"The drum sessions are now complete.John Macaluso (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, TNT, ARK) laid down probably the most insane drums he's ever recorded. There's a lot of personality and texture that will add to the ideas behind the music. Also some very nice drum sounds.
The album has a running time around 60 minutes with 9 songs. Soon I will start recording the guitar tracks. I'll be using both my favorite amps the ENGL Powerball and Metaltronix M-1000.

In May Stygia announced the following lineup: vocalist Mike Vescera (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen, LOUDNESS, OBSESSION), keyboardist Mats Olausson (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen), bassist Chris McCarvill (HOUSE OF LORDS, ex-JEFF SCOTT SOTO BAND) and drummer John Macaluso (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen, Ark, TNT).
