SUHRIM Introduce New Bassist
February 28, 2007, 17 years ago
Belgium's SUHRIM has issued the following update:
"At this time we would like to officially welcome Niklaas Reinhold to the Suhrim ranks. He'll be taking over bass duties on a permanent basis from frontman Johan Antonissen with immediate effect. Antonissen - who suffered a serious back injury a few years ago - will now solely concentrate on vocal duties in the live environment, but continue to write and contribute material on bass."As previously reported, Suhrim recently returned home from recording their third album, Happy Hour, with the acclaimed producer duo Wojtek and Slawek Wieslawscy at Hertz Studios in Bialystok, Poland (VADER, HATE, DECAPITDATED). For those recording sessions, guitarist Tom Bleys laid down the bass lines.
Suhrim plans to tour domestically as well as internationally for this release. Promoters and booking agents are encouraged to contact the band (johan.suhrim@telenet.be) or their label (info@RottenToTheCore.be) for gigs in their area/country. "All shows are bound to induce serious neck damage."
