TEMPLE OF BAAL Announce New Shows
December 10, 2013, 10 years ago
Hailing from France, blackened death metallers TEMPLE OF BAAL have announced a short string of new live appearances in support of their Verses Of Fire album, released late autumn. On December 14th in Paris, France, the band will join ANTAEUS and WATAIN for what will be the group's last show for the year. The event will take place in club Trabendo. In 2014, the quartet will emerge in March at the Speyer Grey Mass Festival (Germany) and later on at Hellfest, on the June 21st. As of late, Temple Of Baal announced a new booking deal with Eld Events, who will take care of band's live appearances outside of France. More shows are expected to be announced soon.
Temple Of Baal dates:
December
14 – Paris, France – Club TrabendoMarch
14 – Speyer, Germany – Speyer Grey Mass FestivalJune
21 – Clisson, France – HellfestVerses Of Fire's sound has been carefully manufactured by Andrew Guillotin in Hybreed Studios. Focusing on a more organic side thanks to the use of tube amps and natural drums, the production allows the natural old-school feeling of the band to shine through the whole album. Through ten tracks - lasting about an hour - Temple Of Baal explores a wide spectrum of extreme metal: from raging blast beats and thrashing riffs, through haunted mid tempo vibes, and up to the point of band's primal influence - the sinister sounds of early 90's black/death metal. New album is available in digipack CD, limited double LP and extra limited gold LP (66 copies only).
Verses Of Fire can be streamed in full on Bandcamp.
