London, UK-based metal monsters THE DEFILED will release their second album, Daggers, on August 2nd via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The label sat The AvD and Stitch D in front of a camera to discuss the album and how each track came about. The second part in this series of track-by-track clips is now online. Parts 1 and 2 below:

The artwork for Daggers was designed and executed by Scott Chalmers, the band's long time photographer.

The Defiled will make their way across the Atlantic this summer for their maiden American tour opening for the headlining rock industrialist DAVEY SUICIDE with experimental hardcore band THE BUNNY THE BEAR as direct support. The Hide Your Morals tour will launch on July 19th in Tempe, Arizona and mayhem is guaranteed to ensue when the tour closes at The Whisky in Hollywood on August 13th.

"We are over the fucking moon to announce we are going to be embarking on our first ever US tour with Davey Suicide," proclaims the band. "After years of sweating it out in the UK and Europe, we can't wait to be able to take what we do to the States."
