THE EXALTED PILEDRIVER Guitarist Comments On Reforming NASTY BLACK, New Album Planned For Summer 2009 Release

Kinky Pork Cream from Canadian heavy metal cult band THE EXALTED PILEDRIVER has issued the following update:
"Greetings,Okay, so before everyone jumps to conclusions, no I'm not out of Piledriver nor am I quitting. Just needed to make that clear, that Piledriver is my MAIN band!
Okay, now, with that said I wanted to announce that I have been chatting with my old writing partner Mike Muehlberg and we decided to reform our old band NASTY BLACK. This was mainly due to having our bands 1993 album Larger Then Life re-released through a US label called Retrospect Records. The re-release did so well in fact that we thought it would be a good idea to do another record. With that in mind we needed to get some new members as the old members have moved on with their lives. So on drums we got our good friend Mark MacPherson from SPEWGORE and on bass we got my old bass player (RWO) and Mike's younger brother Andy Muehlberg. We've been getting together every once in a while and have found that we clicked. So much so that weve written 10 songs in a few months.
We will start recording the new album this week and hopefully have it out by the summer. If anyone is interested in checking out the band you can go to www.nastyblack.ca or www.myspace.com/nastyblackmusic."
Thanks,
Mark aka Kinky Pork Cream
