THE MERCY HOUSE Cancel UK Tour
August 18, 2011, 13 years ago
London rockers THE MERCY HOUSE have released the following update regarding their planned August/September tour:
“We’re deeply sorry to announce that due to a health issue that is currently affecting the band we’re under strict doctor’s orders not to gig or tour over the coming weeks. This unfortunately means that we are forced to cancel our previously announced tour dates for August and September. We want to let you, the fans, know that cancelling shows is something that we do not take lightly and we wouldn’t consider it unless we absolutely had to. You can trust us when we say that we were very much looking forward to seeing you all on the road this summer, but health at this point must take priority so that we can give you that 200% you all know us for when we come back later this year.
All of us at The Mercy House want to apologize to all our fans, promoters, bookers and the bands we were due to share the stage with on this tour for the inconvenience this has caused. We will aim to re-schedule as many of these dates as possible in due course so keep an eye on our official site and our Facebook and Twitter feeds for updates. Please note that some of the original dates will still be going ahead (with different bands taking our place on the bill) and we will be posting all the details on our feeds so that you can check them out and show your support.
For now it’s time for us to get well and get ready so that we can soon come back out to see you all, armed with our debut album and the best show you’ll have seen from us yet. We honestly can’t wait and hope that you can’t either!”
