The Story Of How GUNS N’ ROSES Broke MTV; Part 2 Of Documentary Series Streaming

Streaming below is Part 2 of 3 of Uproxx’s Guns N’ Roses documentary, telling the story of how A&R; Rep Tom Zutaut saved Appetite For Destruction from an early death. After seven months of touring, the album had only sold 200,000 units, and Geffen Records wanted to pull the plug. Tom decided to risk his career on a power move that got the band on MTV and changed the course of rock 'n roll history.

Part 1 of Uproxx’s Guns N’ Roses documentary series (streaming below) focuses on one man's plan to reunite the band. Growing up best friends with Slash and Axl Rose, Marc Canter had a front row seat for the rise and fall of one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Nearly thirty years later, if anyone knows what it will take to get them back together it’s him.
