THE SWORD To Cover THIN LIZZY's 'Cold Sweat' On New 7" Single

Texas metallers THE SWORD recently recorded a cover version of THIN LIZZY's 'Cold Sweat' for a split 7" single that will be released through Volcom Entertainment's Vinyl Club. On the flip side will be the YEAR LONG DISASTER covering The Sword's 'Maiden, Mother & Crone' with Rob Oswald from KARMA TO BURN on drums.
In early February, The Sword started recording their as-yet-untitled third full length with producer and engineer Matt Bayles in Austin.
The Sword will be opening up for MOTÖRHEAD on March 16th at Stubb's Bar-B-Q in Austin during the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival.
Lemmy, the long-awaited documentary examining the life and career of Motörhead front man and rock icon Lemmy Kilmister, make its debut at SXSW at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, March 15th at the historic Paramount Theatre in Austin.
