Those familiar with the hit Showtime series Californication are undoubtedly excited for the new season to air on January 9th and now here's another reason to be excited... the Season 4 Soundtrack.
On January 11th, Arrival Records/Scion Music Group will release Season 4: Music From The Showtime Series Californication, which will include tracks that bring to life many of this seasons storylines, as well as great music and covers from artsits you know and love.
On Californication, David Duchovny stars as TV’s favorite anti-hero, Hank Moody – a hedonistic writer who struggles to raise his teenage daughter Becca, while still carrying a torch for her mother/his ex-girlfriend. This season, Becca joins an all-girl rock band fronted by Pearl, played by singer and actress Zoë Kravitz, called QUEENS OF DOGTOWN.
Queens Of Dogtown re-create 3 classic rock tracks for the Soundtrack, ALICE IN CHAINS' 'Would', THE MISFITS' 'Last Caress' and SKID ROW's 'I Remember You', with all vocals by Zoë Kravitz, that must be heard to be believed.
The soundtrack also incldues an acoustic performance of TOMMY LEE covering MÖTLEY CRÜE's 'Home Sweet Home', as well as tracks from WARREN ZEVON, SHOOTER JENNINGS, EAGLES OF DEATH METAL, and more.
