Miller Valley comes to life for the holidays in a spectacular way with Miller's Friday Night Lites, a synchronized light and music show running every Friday night through Dec. 22nd.
The lightshow is made up of more than 100,000 lights, all set to fitting music: Trans-Siberian Orchestra's 'Wizards In Winter'.
"There are a lot of great holiday lighting displays. We wanted to do something that was more than a display - a show that was something spectacular and completely different that would really get the community into the holiday spirit," said Julie Kubasa, a Miller Brewing Co. spokeswoman.
This isn't the first time Miller Valley has gotten dressed up for the holidays. It's a tradition that dates back to the 1950s, but the energy crisis of 1973 pulled the plug on the display. Two years ago, Miller brought it back to celebrate its 150th anniversary.
The brewery says the new display uses three times the lights used in previous years.
The display runs from 5:00pm to 8:00pm tonight, Dec. 8th, 15th and 22th, with free brewery tours and beer sampling (for those over age 21) and discounts on merchandise at the Girl In The Moon gift shop.
Tours of the show begin at the Miller Visitor Center, 4251 W. State St.
Visitors also are invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the company's Toys For Tots drive. Miller employees kicked off the drive Thursday during a sneak preview of the display.
