According to Longislandpress.com, TWISTED SISTER's Dee Snider will be joined by the March Of Dimes for his 9th annual Bikers For Babies Ride at Nickerson Beach Park this Sunday.
The bike ride features over 2,000 motorcyclist who are expected to descend on Nassau County, Long Island New York and join Snider as he continues his fight against premature birth.
The annual ride begins at 9 a.m. Riders will hop on their bikes at 11 a.m. for the 60 minute, 45-mile long route.
“I’m honored to be a part of these events and proud of their success in raising funds to fight premature birth,” Snider said in a statement.
Snider has been personally affected by premature birth. Two of his four children were born prematurely, and he wants to raise money so other babies can be born healthy.
Snider joined up with March of Dimes to raise money for their organization after a bike ride with the Connecticut chapter for three years. He then created the Long Island event, which carries his name.
