Pittsburgh-based thrash metallers MANTIC RITUAL have issued the following update:

"Due to the departure of Adam Haritan, Mantic Ritual will now be being holding auditions for a new drummer. If you are interested, please read some of our requirements below. All serious inquires please contact us and we will get back to you ASAP.

Requirements for drummers:

1) Must be able to obtain a passport and be able to go on tours. We plan on touring once we get the line up solidified, so you must be able to go on the road for long periods of time. Touring is not as glamorous as you may think, so please take the time to really think if this is something you would definitely want to do before auditioning.

2) Must be over 18. We are all in our mid/early twenties, so we would prefer someone around our age as well. But you would have to be at least over 18 years of age.

3) No drug problems/criminal records! We like to have fun on the road ourselves, but we cannot have anyone in the band with a serious drug problem. Also, if you have a criminal record, touring outside the USA will become very difficult, so please have a clean record!

4) Must be able to work well with the band and others. Being on the road and working with the band as well as others, you're going to have to be easy to work with. No egos please!

5) Must be committed and have nice equipment. We are just about done writing our second album, so you would have to get 11 or so songs ready to record in the studio as well as get ready for tours, so you must have time to practice! Also, its important to sound the best you can..so nice drum gear is also a must!

Ways to send in your audition:

If you have read the above requirements and feel that you can be the person for the job, the best way to send us your audition is to:

1) Upload a video of you playing a couple of our songs to YouTube or any other video hosting site and then send us the URL.

2) If you cannot do a video audition an audio recording would be suffice as well.

With any of the above complete, a bio and photo would be nice as well. We look forward to hearing from you!"
