VAN HALEN, QUEEN, JOURNEY Songs Make List Of Top Sports Anthems

According to Live4ever.uk.com, PRS For Music - the organization which collects royalties on behalf of 90,000 songwriters and performers - asked its members for their top anthem with sporting associations, and found VAN HALEN's 1984 worldwide number one single 'Jump' to be the favourite. Other entries on the list included THE ROLLING STONES' 'Start Me Up', JOURNEY's Don’t Stop Believin’' and QUEEN's ‘We Are The Champions‘, ‘Another One Bites The Dust‘ and ‘We Will Rock You‘.
“We are so excited about the Olympic Games and music plays such a classic role for both the spectator and participant,” PRS chairman Guy Fletcher has said.
