VIÐR Signs With Duplicate Records

Norwegian west-coast black metallers VIÐR based in Bergen have inked a deal with Duplicate Records who will release their debut album, Hedensk Skikk Og Tro, in 2012.
The band remark: "We are proud to announce that we have been signed by Duplicate Records, long time providers of first class Norwegian metal. This is definitely one of our favorite labels and we are very pleased with the deal we've gotten from Duplicate. We're currently finishing up the last songs of our debut album and will record them in Bergen's own Conclave studio during may.”
VIðR was founded by Kuldegys (FROZEN CRIES) in 2008, Originally as a one man band with guest appereances. During 2010 enters Eld (KRAKOW) and Tulkas (X-KRAKOW, BEINKJØR) on bass and drums. Hexzaldre (X-ARVAS) and Broke (MANIPURA) joins as permantent members in fall 2010. The EP "Grantre og Bark" is recorded in Conclave Studios and produced byBjørnar E. Nilsen (VULTURE INDUSTRIES, BLACK HOLE GENERATOR).
