Richmond, VA's trad metal heavyweights VOLTURE have announced the upcoming North American vinyl release of their latest full length On The Edge. War on Music Records teams up with German vinyl behemoth High Roller Records to bring you this denim and leather masterwork on the one-and-only true metal format.

Volture is the brainchild of bassist Ryan Waste (MUNICIPAL WASTE) and guitarist Nick Poulos who formed the band in Richmond VA in November 2008 as a full time project leaning towards traditional heavy metal and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. The two friends were joined by drummer Barry Cover, guitarist David Boyd and more recently vocalist Jack Bauer.

After a soaring debut EP on Heavy Artillery Records (Shocking It's Prey 2010) and a followup single on Tankcrimes (Rulebreaker 2011), VOLTURE inked a deal with High Roller, who released On the Edge in Europe on CD and Vinyl last month. “It's the total heavy metal package,” comments Ryan Waste. “In comparison to the mini-album and the single the themes are a little more involved and the song writing has gotten a bit more complex. Although we never want to stray too far away from our original direction. We will always play traditional heavy metal and that will never change!"
