WHITESNAKE Cancel Remaining Dates On JUDAS PRIEST Tour?

According to Examiner.com, last night (August 11th) After a four song set at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Morrison, Colorado, WHITESNAKE frontman David Coverdale, announced that he felt he wasn't quite over his laryngitis he had been suffering from and could sing no longer.

With a heart wrenching appology Coverdale left the stage. "I'm sorry, I tried, I just can't do it.", he stated .

At the end of the performance last night, inside sources told us that Coverdale had canceled the rest of the tour with JUDAS PRIEST and supporting band POP EVIL, due to his illness.

Judas Priest and Michigan based support band, Pop Evil, will perform extended sets to make up for the absense of Whitesnake.

Previously on August 7th, Whitesnake had canceled the performance in Phoenix, Arizona at the Dodge Theatre due to his battle with laryngtis.
