WOODS OF YPRES Frontman David Gold On Next Album - "It Will Be Sad, Classy, Dark And Heavy"

WOODS OF YPRES founder/frontman David Gold was recently asked to describe what the band's next album, known for the time being simply as Woods 5. He offered the following:

"If there's a colour it's black, if there's a time of day it's at night, if there's a season at all it's winter. It will be sad, classy, dark and heavy. I'm almost 30 years old I've heard a lot of blastbeats and a lot of guitar wanking, but at this age I like a good song writing. I think people get into the music and connect with it because of that."

Gold is featured in a new interview with Fearless Radio. Gold discusses Nick Cave, Woods II, writing Woods 5, the band's 'riff rules,' the ongoing Pain & Piss tour, and the future of the band.
