The Destroy All Enemies Tour brought three powerhouse bands to West Palm Beach, and the iTHINK Amphitheater buzzed with anticipation. Each band delivered a set that had the crowd screaming for more, making it a night to remember.
All That Remains opened the night, setting the stage with a blistering set that reminded everyone why they've remained a staple in the metalcore scene. It was my first time seeing them live since 2009, and I was eager to hear their new material. They did not disappoint. From the thunderous opener "Now Let Them Tremble" to the anthemic "This Calling," the band delivered a tight, energetic performance that bridged the gap between their early hits and the newer songs. The crowd especially responded to "Two Weeks," a classic that had everyone singing along.
Mudvayne took the stage next, and for many, including myself, it was the first time experiencing their live show. Their energy was absolutely electric. From the moment they launched into "Not Falling," the entire amphitheater erupted. Chad Gray's commanding presence and unmistakable vocals carried through every track, while the rest of the band delivered a performance that was as tight as it was ferocious. Highlights included "Death Blooms," which had the crowd swaying in unison, and the colossal "Dig," which closed their set on a high note, leaving the audience roaring for more.
Finally, Megadeth brought the night to a climactic end. One of the Big Four of thrash metal, their presence was nothing short of legendary. Opening with "The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!" the band proved that they’re still at the top of their game. The setlist was a well-curated mix of classic hits and deep cuts, including a surprising performance of "Washington Is Next!"—the first time they played it live since 2009. Dave Mustaine's iconic snarls and intricate guitar work were on full display, particularly during tracks like "Hangar 18" and "Tornado Of Souls." The show reached its peak with "Holy Wars... The Punishment Due," sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Overall, the Destroy All Enemies Tour delivered exactly what its name promised—a relentless, high-octane assault of metal that left the audience exhausted, exhilarated, and hungry for more. If you have the chance to catch this tour, don’t hesitate—it’s a must-see for any metal fan.
