Behind-The-Scenes:

"Rock Or Bust":

AC/DC's new album, Rock Or Bust, has premiered on the Canadian Album Chart at #1, shifting upwards of of 30,000 units. In the US, Rock Or Bust premiers on the Billboard 200 at #3, selling approximately 172,000 copies in that country.

According to the UK's Official Charts Company, Rock Or Bust has debuted at #3, earning them their 18th Top 40 album in that country. In their homeland of Australia, they landed another #1, with their previous four being Back In Black, Live, Ballbreaker and Black Ice.

Rock Or Bust was produced by Brendan O’Brien, with Mike Fraser mixing at Bryan Adams' Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, BC.  The album’s cover art uses a developed 3-D lenticular technology, which gives the illusion of the band’s iconic logo exploding as the album is moved. Rock or Bust is the band’s first album of new material in six years, following their immensely successful Black Ice, which entered charts at #1 in 31 countries and has sold nearly 8 million copies worldwide.

"Play Ball" video:

Rock Or Bust is the first AC/DC album in the band’s 41 year history without founding member Malcolm Young on the recordings, who is in a home suffering from dementia.

AC/DC will undertake a world tour in support of Rock Or Bust in 2015. Stevie Young, nephew of founding members Angus and Malcolm Young, plays rhythm guitar on Rock Or Bust and will accompany the band on tour. Long-time drummer Phil Rudd was recently ousted from the band and a replacement will be announced soon.
