AS MY WORLD BURNS - New EP Details Revealed

Mistakes Art Gallery is AS MY WORLD BURNS's new EP, which follows their debut, Letters From Alaska (2009). The new EP was recorded and mixed by Alex Cappa at The Metal Factory Studios during October and November. Mistakes Art Gallery will be mastered by Brett Caldas-Lima (BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, CYNIC, DEVIN TOWNSEND, XERATH) at Tower Studios, France.
The new work will be released at the beginning of 2012. The well-known single, 'The Sound Of The Waves', which gathered great reviews, will be included in the new EP together with new songs such as 'We Both Knew This City Was Never Big Enough For the Both Of Us... So I Ran!' and 'Like Scavenger Birds Playing Poker', among others.
In the band's own words: ''It's been almost three years since we released Letters From Alaska, since then we've been writing lots of new songs, we had a post-rock period, we also had a progressive death metal phase but we decided not to show any of those, what people are going to find in Mistakes Art Gallery is something completely different. We don't know what's this we're about to release or how people we'll take it, what we do know is that this is not what people expected from us and that's the reason why we have decided to go this way. This EP shows lots of new sides of the band, it's complex and really different, we think is going to shock everyone. We hope you guys like it as much as we do''
