BRET MICHAELS Issues Video Message For Rock Hard - Ride Hard AMA Supercross Award; More Steelers Playoff Party Details Revealed

POISON singer BRET MICHAELS recently teamed up with AMA Supercross to create a new award that supports athletes who've overcome hardship, on or off the track. The award is called the Bret Michaels Rock Hard-Ride Hard award, and it'll reward the hardest-charging, comeback rider of the 2011 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season.
The winner will be determined by a combination of votes from race fans and season rankings. Michaels will present the winner with the award - a cash prize and a custom trophy guitar - at the Supercross season finale at Las Vegas' Sam Boyd Stadium on May 7th.

After helping to kick off the Pittsburgh Steelers NFL season Michaels makes his return to kick off the Steelers' playoff run this Friday, January 14th, on the eve of the AFC Divisional Playoff showdown between the Steelers and Ravens, come help the team celebrate its NFL Best 20th Division Championship at Stage AE. The Pittsburgh Steelers are throwing a playoff party featuring Butler native and diehard Steelers fan, Bret Michaels.
Recently named "Celebrity of the Year" by FOXNews.com, the rock star is set to fly across the country and perform for his hometown team. Michaels will be back in Phoenix on Saturday for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.
The playoff party will be emcee'd by former Steelers players, Tunch Ilkin and Craig Wolfley. There will also be guest appearances by other notable Steelers Alums, and a live broadcast by hometown station WDVE.
Bret will also be doing the "Towel Twirl" prior to the game.
