QUEEN Day V is scheduled for June 2nd, from 3 PM - 1 AM, at Centre of Life, Times Square in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England.

Organizers state: "Jim and Dave are very pleased to announce the 5th Annual Queen Day in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Since 2008, Queen Day has gone from strength to strength thanks to the great fans who support and enjoy this brilliant day in the North East of England. We would like to invite everyone to attend what is sure to be our biggest and best year yet.

Tickets are £10 each, t-shirts are £10 each or £13 for fitted shirts. Please note that all shirts must be ordered and paid for in advance, we will only get printed what's ordered.

Peter Freestone will be joining us this year as will my good friends Jim Jenkins and Jacky Smith, every year has been better than the year before so this one should be the best one yet. THE DEPUTIES will be playing a 40-ish minute non Queen set and then BELLADONIC HAZE will take the stage for their usual brilliant set, the night will then finish with a Queen disco (please send us your requests). We are looking at the possibility of Karaoke for the first couple of hours but we have had to hire a PA for the band so this might not happen, but we are looking into it. Please come along and join us for what will be a fantastic day.

In other Queen related news, guitarist Brian May joined the We Will Rock You cast on stage last night (April 15th) at the 2012 Olivier Awards, performing 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. We Will Rock You celebrates it's 10th anniversary at The Dominion Theatre on May 14th with a special gala performance, to buy tickets head here.
