Former Skid Row singer, Erik Grönwall, has shared his epic dark version of "House Of The Rising Sun", the classic song popularized by The Animals. Check it out below.
Grönwall recently announced a delay in the release of his autobiography.
Says Grönwall: "Ladies and Gentlemen, I have some good news and some not-so-good news. Which would you like first?
"Alright, let’s start with the not-so-good news…
"The release of the English version of my book, POWER, has been delayed by about two weeks. Originally scheduled to ship on November 21, the new date is now December 6. When I received the initial translation and read through it, I realized that certain nuances and expressions needed some fine-tuning to truly reflect my voice and intent. The original translator did an excellent job capturing the core ideas, but to make sure it really feels like my words, I’ve taken some extra time for final adjustments. Thank you for your patience, and I apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause.
"Now for the good news!
"You’ll be receiving a more polished version of POWER - shipping on December 6 - and I’m excited to announce that I’ve also recorded an audiobook in English, narrated by me, which will be available around the same time. While the Swedish and English print editions are professionally managed by @harpercollins_sverige - the English audiobook is a more independent project. I’ve never done anything quite like this before, and it’s a bit outside my comfort zone, so thank you for bearing with me!
"For those interested in a signed copy, you can still order both the Swedish and English versions here: erik.merchants.se. I’ll be signing all English pre-orders on Monday, December 2. Please note that pre-orders for the English version will close on November 28.
"Thank you all for your understanding and support. I’m excited to share this version with you and can’t wait for you to experience POWER in English.
"All the best, EG"
