Friends, admirers, and musicians gathered yesterday (Sunday, November 14) at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in West Hollywood, California for Frankie Banali Celebration Of Life - 70th Birthday Party, a private event in honour of the late Quiet Riot drummer.
The current lineup of Quiet Riot was on hand, along with drummer Simon Wright (ex-AC/DC), guitarist Doug Aldrich (The Dead Daisies/ex-Whitesnake, Dio), bassist Sean McNabb (ex-Quiet Riot, Dokken), singer Glenn Hughes (The Dead Daisies, ex-Deep Purple), guitarist Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns N' Roses), and many more.
A bust of Banali was unveiled at the event, and you can see video and photos below.
Frankie Banali passes away on August 20, 2020 at 68 following a battle with pancreatic cancer. A public funeral service for Banali will be held today (Monday, November 15) at 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA.
