GENE SIMMONS Confirmed As Judge On New Mark Burnett Reality Series Jingles

According to Tvweek.com,
CBS has said "You're hired" to Kiss frontman Gene Simmons, tapping him to serve as a judge on its upcoming Mark Burnett reality series Jingles.
In addition to his A&E; reality show Family Jewels, Mr. Simmons' last major TV gig was as a contestant on the celebrity edition of Mr. Burnett's The Apprentice. He also is a successful businessman, heading up his own marketing company.
Signing on to serve as an 'advisory panel' for Mr. Simmons are Linda Kaplan Thaler and Julie Roehm. Ms. Thaler is best known for writing the I Don't Want To Grow Up jingle for Toys 'R' Us. Ms. Roehm is a former marketing chief for Wal-Mart who left the company under a cloud of scandal.
Kimberly Caldwell, a former American Idol contestant who now works for TV Guide Network, will host the show.
As previously reported, CBS has decided to push back the planned July 27 premiere of Jingles. The series remains in production.
