GREAT WHITE’s Michael Lardie Recalls Working With GUNS N’ ROSES – “I Remember Mixing ‘Mr. Brownstone’”

Mark Kendall and Michael Lardie of the legendary Great White as well as Shakra lead singer Mark Fox join Mitch for episode 190 of One On One With Mitch Lafon. In the show's first interview, long-time Great White members Michael Lardie and Mark Kendall talk about the band's current work on a new album, touring plans for 2016, working on the Guns N' Roses Appetite For Destruction demo recordings, the Metal Meltdown concert film, and much more. In the second interview, Shakra vocalist Mark Fox discusses his return to the band, have past issues been resolved, their new High Noon album, opening for Guns N’ Roses and more.

Michael Lardie on working with Guns N' Roses: "There was a point were Mike Clink (the producer) was pretty much over dealing with the boys; he was just exhausted. He wasn't feeling it any so he needed to take a break. So, he gave myself and Alan (Niven) two or three tunes to mix. I remember mixing ‘Mr. Brownstone’."

New music: "We are working on new material. Mark and I are working like crazy people."

Mark Fox on returning to Shakra: "It was Thomas Muster (our rhythm guitarist and lead song writer) - he said 'ok, I want to have Fox back in the band.' He was a little bit anxious to call me directly. So, we met and discussed everything in the past and we really brought all the problems on the table. After that, we decided let's make music."
