GUNS N’ ROSES bassist Tommy Stinson has issued the following update:

“Hey there.

Here is the latest on the wacky world of Thomas Eugene Stinson:

We've played three shows so far (Seattle, Portland, San Fransisco), and all have been a success. Had great crowds, good times, more fun than a person should be allowed to have and still call it work - not that I call this work, but it is to some degree I suppose.

Anyway, Alien Crime Syndicate has proven to be a very good move on my part. They have been rockin up the tunes from my new as well as old records with much spirit. We'll be starting our first 7 night straight run here tonight in San Diego. We'll also be video taping as well as audio taping for a possible DVD or video. So if your coming out to the shows you might want to look your best as I'm filming everything and anyone.

I'm really hooked on a few new records at the moment. Pleasure Club, Burning Brides, Visqueen has a new one I'm just starting to spin as well as the new Alien Crime Syndicate record. Met a kid named Ben Kweller the other night. Gonna listen for his stuff as he was super sweet.

I also saw a horrifying gang battle in S.F. that was right out of Pulp Fiction on Saturday night. Glad to be alive to tell the tale. Don't think others there were so fortunate.

That's all for now. I'll catch you up as the tour rolls on.

Later, Tommy.”
