IAN GILLAN Touring Bassist Rodney Appleby Shot In Jaw

“An East Side man was shot in the jaw after he accepted an invitation to visit a neighbor's house, Buffalo police said Saturday.Rodney Appelby, 49, of the 800 block of Fillmore Avenue, was shot once at about 2:30 PM when he went to the nearby Fillmore Avenue home of his neighbor, Theodis Johnson, 41, Ferry-Fillmore District officers said.
Johnson is accused of firing a gunshot that struck Appelby in the jaw. Officers Cedric Littlejohn and Daryl Williams charged him with attempted murder, criminal use of a weapon and criminal possession of a weapon.
Appelby is in stable condition in Erie County Medical Center, police said late Saturday night.”
