KATANA Record Second Album With Producer Andy La Rocque; Studio Video Uploaded

KATANA have once again teamed up with guitar legend and producer Andy La Rocque to record a new set of traditional heavy metal tracks. Following the success of their debut album, Heads Will Roll, the Swedes have pulled out all the stops to create a worthy follow-up.
Says the band: "This time around, it’s been a much more intense experience. We spent about six months putting our new material together, but you’re never fully prepared for what’s going to happen once you set foot in the studio. These few weeks of recording have been quite hectic, but it all seems to be coming together nicely. Now, it’s all up to Andy and his magic fingers!"

Katana's debut album, Heads Will Roll, is out now via Listenable Records.
The music of Katana is heavily influenced by bands like IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST and ACCEPT. The band definitely shows that the genre is more alive than ever and Heads Will Roll sets a new standard for what classic heavy metal is supposed to sound like in 2011.
