Metronews.ca is reporting:

KISS Army, ready yourselves. The make-up wearing rock band could be coming to Halifax.

In a recent interview with Sun Media, Gene Simmons said they’re working on a new album and they expect to tour next year.

“We’ll do a handful of shows to keep in the game (next) summer, maybe 10 (dates), some Canadian shows. I know Halifax is one, but before you get out there and start the baseball season, they hold exhibition games, that’s what we’re doing. ’Cause once we go out, it’s going to be for a year and a half,” Simmons said.

The organizer of last year’s Kiss Expo said she’s been in touch with the KISS online staff. “I was talking to them earlier,” she said. “There’s nothing confirmed yet for any stops anywhere.”

She advises fellow fans to be patient and wait for word from an official website.

The last time KISS played Halifax was in 1977, she said. They were scheduled during a 1989-90 tour, but it was cancelled because singer Paul Stanley was injured.
