KIX In Pre-Production For First Studio Album In 18 Years

Long-running US hard rockers KIX are currently in the studio with producer/songwriter Taylor Rhodes (AEROSMITH) working on pre-production for their new studio album and first since 1995's $how Bu$ine$$. The album is due out via Frontiers Records later this year. Kix' last album, Live In Baltimore, was released last September.
Singer Steve Whiteman recently stated: "We have been hard at work getting new material together that we think will stand shoulder to shoulder with any previous Kix record. It’s a really exciting time!"
The Kix lineup includes original members Steve Whiteman, Jimmy Chalfant, Ronnie Younkins and Brian Forsythe with Mark Schenker on bass.
Tonight (Saturday, June 1), KIX are performing live at the Breast Cancer Awareness Music Festival at Blob's Park in Jessup, MD.
