Los Angeles’ STANG Releases New Single “Cold Lover”

Stang is a blues based hard rock power band from Los Angeles, CA. Imagine if The Band of Gypsys, AC/DC and Royal Blood all got together and had a band love child; that would be Stang. Stang is making their name playing the sunset strip in Hollywood, California, with a passion for hot riffs, fuzzy guitars and banging drums.
Stang has an old school blue-collar approach to rock, but new riffs, new faces and new voices. All Stang songs are written in the frontman Drew Southern’s KoreaTown apartment, dubbed “The K Town Swamp House” in honor of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Stang has dropped a new single “Cold Lover '' recorded live in East LA, and mixed by Jaimeson Durr who’s been Sammy Hagar’s mixing engineer for the last 12 years. The upcoming Stang album will be out on digital outlets on November 27, with a special release party at the Whiskey A Go Go that night. A vinyl release is slated for December.
Stang is all about the live show. Stang recently received an encore at the famous
Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood California opening up for the Hollywood Roses. After
Stang’s set, The PA announced shouted into the microphone “Good luck Roses following that!” With ambitions of opening for AC/DC in 2022 and already new music being made, the future looks exciting for Stang.
