MARTY FRIEDMAN Says “It Was Just Perfect Timing” On MEGADETH Tokyo Reunion

Heavy Consequence caught up with guitarist Marty Friedman after reuniting on stage with Megadeth at their Tokyo show on February 27.
“It was just like a perfect exclamation point on everything that we had done together up until this point,” Friedman told Heavy Consequence a day after the show. “You couldn’t have written a better way for the whole thing to play out. It was just perfect timing, just a very natural and organic way to do it.”For the first time in more than 23 years, Megadeth alumni Marty Friedman joined Megadeth on stage as the special guest for a one-off global livestream from the legendary Budokan Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
Friedman joined the for three songs, "Countdown To Extinction", "Tornado Of Souls" and "Symphony Of Destruction". Fan-filmed video can be viewed below.
