METSATÖLL To Release Ulg Album In December; Details Revealed, First Single Streaming

METSATÖLL, the four-piece outfit from Estonia, have confirmed the release of their fifth studio album, Ulg, for December 5th via Spinefarm Records. This is the second time that Metsatöll, Estonia’s premier metal outfit, have collaborated with Spinefarm.

Ulg, meaning ‘The Howl’, was recorded from top to tail amongst the forests of southern Estonia, with legendary Finnish sound engineer Mikko Karmila (whose credits include CHILDREN OF BODOM and NIGHTWISH, and who worked with Metsatöll on their previous album, Aio) coming on board to help the band prepare for this mighty task, before handing over to sound engineer Keijo Koppel to complete the recordings.
