Sweden's BADMOUTH have issued the following update on their scheduled shows with US glam rock veterans PRETTY BOY FLOYD:

"Dear fans,

The Badmouth management has just been informed that Pretty Boy Floyd has been forced to cancel their upcoming Swedish shows in the beginning of August. The following is an excerpt from their press release:

'Pretty Boy Floyd have been forced to cancel the Kid N' Young Festival in Uppsala, Sweden at The Grand. United Star Productions and Vanya Keen have not provided the contractual obligations such as flights and the industry standard deposit in order for the band to secure the date with them.'

Because of that PBF are not able to join us on the rest of the tour. We are of course very sad about this and we are, as many else, questioning the way Vanya Keen is running her company. This is not slandering a person. This is pure facts (with a lot of written papers as evidence).

Badmouth will play, as promised, on the 6th at Harry B. James with LOVESTAIN and on the 7th at Backstage Bar in Trollhättan. Badmouth will rock the shit out of these venues and then start rehearsing for the KINGDOM COME European Tour starting in the end of September.

We hope that we will have the honor to play with Pretty Boy Floyd in the future. They have been really good troopers through it all and they seem like really cool people. We are really sorry for this."

See you out there,

Mike Hill
