Legendary producer Rick Rubin (Metallica, Slayer, The Cult, ZZ Top, etc.) has listed his Malibu residence for $75K per month.
According to American Luxury, the promontory location of this home is a dramatic one; the house, barrel sauna and broad carpet of lawn occupy a particularly dramatic section of Point Dume bluff overlooking the ocean. The house is a midcentury modern ranch that went up in 1965.
Interior living spaces in the home are Spartan and entirely uncluttered; the dominant concession to overt comfort is also socially facilitative: a pair of simple, pine-frame sofas occupying the margins of the living area.
