Continuing weekly through to March 2022, Queen YouTube is taking Queen fans on a unique and remarkable journey - a chance to revisit some of the band’s most iconic moments and discover some aspects of the story we didn’t know. Episode #32 - At The Movies: Take 2 - Highlander can be seen below.
A message states: "With just twenty minutes of rough footage to show, Director Russell Mulcahy hoped it would be enough to persuade Queen to write one song for his new movie. He ended up with an entire soundtrack that included some massive hits."
The Queen Studio Collection is to be re-released globally on Friday, November 12. The 18 LP half-speed coloured vinyl box set was originally released in September 2015.
The 18 vinyl LP box set comes with a lavishly illustrated 12 x 12 inch 108-page hardback book which features introductions to each album, quotes from Queen themselves, hand-written lyrics, rare photographs, memorabilia, and information on singles and videos - all made possible with unlimited access to Queen’s own archive plus the personal archives of Brian May, Roger Taylor, and some generous fans.
