Swedish epic power metal sextet SABATON have just entered the Billboard charts at #124 (Heatseekers) and #87 (Top Hard Music) with their brand new World War II-themed album, Coat Of Arms.

Worldwide first-week chart entries are as follows:

Sweden #4

Poland #9

Finland #17

Germany #19

Switzerland #33

Austria #71

En route to Frankfurt, Germany for a festival appearance, Sabaton lead singer Joakim Brodén checks in from the airport in Stockholm about the band’s recent accomplishment in North America: “Coat Of Arms keeps bringing us amazing news all the time it seems. Six Swedish heavy metal retards in camo pants on the Billboard charts? Never thought I'd see the day! I'm not sure I believe it, but if it's true, we're the happiest Swedes alive at this moment! What's next, pink aliens at Wal-Mart? Thanks to all our American brothers and sisters and cousins who actually bought our album instead of downloading it! Damn, we've just GOT to find some way to get over to America on this tour!"

Sabaton recently uploaded a four-minute documentary about the shooting of their video for the song 'Uprising'. The lyrics of the song are about the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. The clip was shot in mid / late May in Poland – where the band themselves got an honorary citizenship – and can fairly be described as the biggest video clip in heavy metal with more than 200 people working on it 24/7, a budget beyond 100k, major actors featured (such as Peter Stomare, known from Hollywood productions like Prison Break, 8MM, Fargo, The Big Leboswki and more).

Sabaton will devastate European stages during their World War Tour 2010. More on the band, including their live itinerary, at this location.
