SEBASTIAN BACH - "My Apologies To The Classical Purists Out There; I Should Have Called Myself 'Hank Shakespeare'"

Vocalist Sebastian Bach is featured in a new interview with the Nanaimo Daily News. A few excerpts from the story are available below:

On making a name for himself... literally: "It was 1985, and it was Johann Sebastian Bach's 300th birthday and every newspaper - the Toronto Star, is right in my face, 'Sebastian Bach, Sebastian Bach,' and it's only a few letters different than my name, and I liked the way it sounded. The last thing I ever thought would happen would be that I would actually make it. My apologies to the classical purists out there. I should have called myself 'Hank Shakespeare'."

On former band Madam X: "I was the older womens' play toy, and I loved it, every second of it. Every boy's dream. All the older ladies loved that I was very androgynous. Not too many men were more androgynous than Sebastian Bach."

On his live show in 2014: "There's nothing acoustic or soft about this show. Don't come expecting anything less than a jackhammer between your eyes. This is metal, give 'em hell, the tour of hell. We're not mellowing out at all."

Bach is featured in a new interview conducted by Underkill TV at the Steelhouse Festival in Wales on the last day of his European tour in support of the Give 'Em Hell album. Check it out below:
