SLAVIOR - Two Live Dates Announced For Tokyo, Working On New Material
June 28, 2007, 17 years ago
SLAVIOR drummer Mark Zonder (ex-FATES WARNING) has issued the following update via the band's official MySpace page:
"Slavior will be going to Japan in August for a promotional tour. We are doing press, a couple acoustic shows in various record stores as well as the following full electric shows:August
23 - Dress, Tokyo24 - Sanctuary, Tokyo
We are very excited to go play for our loyal dedicated Japanese following.
Even though the other guys in the band have been to Japan before, it is the first time for for myself as it has always been the hotbed of rock and metal music. I do remember dreaming about this for many years. This is made possible by all of the hard work by our Japanese label, Dingwall. They really have gone out of their way to make this happen. As every band knows, there is no better feeling than having the support and trust of your label.
Philip Bynoe will be playing bass with us.
We are currently about half way through writing and recording demos for the next album. Philip is also involved with this as well and we welcome his creative input and know he will have a big impact on the Slavior sound.
Can't wait to see everyone in Japan in August."
