KISSonline.com is reporting:

"Thanks to South Dakota Governor Mike Rounds for making an unscheduled visit to see the band yesterday. The Governor, who earlier honored KISS by declaring Monday as KISS Rock 'n Roll Day in South Dakota, wanted to personally thank the band for their support of the United States Military! He later joined Sturgis Mayor Maury Larue live on stage to present the Proclamation to the band in Sturgis last night!

For over two hours last night, a powerful and energetic KISS rocked over 40,000 fans in Sturgis, South Dakota! Their first US show since returning from Europe drew the largest crowd ever to attend the Glencoe Amphitheater. And what a crowd it was... singing and screaming throughout the band's entire performance!"
