Between attending the promoters' invite-only dinner and bestowing career achievement jerseys to Death Angel, the BraveWords team were more social butterflies than hardcore news hounds on Day 2, but given the pandemic layoff, the in-person aspect was just as important (maybe moreso now, post-Covid shutdown). As a result, only Beast In Black were captured live. Next day, the parched moonscape quickly became a tricky-to-navigate quagmire, as torrents of rain descended on the Summer Freeze field. Still, between the raindrops, managed to take in performances from Within Temptation and Amorphis. A full festival recap will be posted shortly.
