AEROSMITH Drummer Joey Kramer - "We Can’t Wait To Get Back Into The Studio And Get Back Out On The Road To Do What We Do Best"

AEROSMITH drummer Joey Kramer has issued the following update:
"Happy New Year! Today is the first day Tom (Hamilton - bass) and I are getting back together. We just rehearsed for two hours and it feels so good! We can’t wait to get back into the studio and get back out on the road to do what we do best. We’ll check in from time to time and give you progress on how things are going. Until then…be well and Happy New Year!"Aerosmith are currently working on material for their 15th studio album - the first album of original material since 2001's Just Push Play. Tyler recently confirmed that the band plans to begin a new US tour in April of 2009, in support of the as-yet-untitled album. This tour will be preceded by a concert in Caracas, Venezuela at Estadio Olimpico on February 1st, 2009.
