Antwerp, Belgium-based "powerfolk" metallers ANGELI DI PIETRA have posted the following update:

“A few things have changed over the past few months with your favorite powerfolk band. First of all, as most of you already know, our singer Guy left after eight years of dedication and hard work, to focus on his family and some other projects. We wish him the very best in the future!

As a consequence thereof we were on the hunt for a new frontman, which wasn't an easy task. But, our colleagues from HERFST helped us out on that one and lend us their charismatic singer: Matthieu Van den Brande! People who follow us on Facebook have already seen the picture and the announcement. But for those who haven't seen it yet, here's the brand new Angeli Di Pietra 2013 Line-up!”

ADP will be at the fundraiser for the animal shelter Het Blauwe Kruis this weekend on September 28th with IN VAIN and LEMURIA. They will also be playing at the DVG Indoor Metal Fest in Roeselare, Belgium on October 12th and will be competing in a battle of the bands for a spot at the HAF bill. This will take place on November 23rd in Leffingen, Belgium.

About the new album progress the band says: “Although we are working very hard on the successor or Anthems Of Conquest, it will be a while before the new album will be recorded and released. So please bear with us for a while. We're as excited as you are. In the mean time you might hear one or two new songs on the upcoming gigs.”
