Boston metallers KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have issued the following:
"Hello everyone,Recently we signed a guitar for a foundation led by a friend of the band. Below is his story and a link to the ebay auction. Please bid."
"All auction items sold through The Rhiannon Chloe Foundation on eBay to the benefit of Children's Leukemia research and awareness.
It will also be used as a way to supplement families in need who are dealing with the same catastrophic events that my family has.
You see my 7 year old daughter Rhiannon Chloe was diagnosed with Leukemia on May 1st, 2006, since them my family has suffered physically, emotionally, mentally, and most important financially. There is no way to bounce back from a situation that you do not expect to take place. Things are never easy and we are now looking to tap into the resources that have helped push us along to help benefit Rhiannon's needs and other families who are also in need. Rhiannon is still undergoing treatment on an outpatient basis at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital."
