hot flashes news breaker

Cleveland metal band BREAKER have a new song posted online titled 'Black Light Ark'. Check it out at this location.

The track appears on the band's forthcoming Peace Love Death (Auburn Records) release. The CD will be released in Europe to coincide with the group's appearance at the Bang Your Head!!! festival (June 26th - 28th in Balingen, Germany) and in North America on July 8th.

The collection features twelve tracks - four brand new studio originals, four studio cover songs and four live tracks. Legendary UFO bassist Pete Way makes a special appearance on a cover of 'Too Much Of Nothing'. An extended version of 'Still Life' was recorded live at Breaker's infamous headlining appearance at Germany's Headbangers Open Air festival in 2004, capturing the band destroying their equipment on stage for the set closing finale. A full-length Breaker studio album will follow later this year.

Peace Love Death track listing: 'Black Light Ark', 'Satellite Dog', 'Luck And Gasoline', 'One Thin Line', 'Too Much Of Nothing' (featuring UFO's Pete Way), 'To Hell And Back Again' (SAXON), 'Pictured Life' (SCORPIONS), 'Breaker' (ACCEPT), 'Black Light Ark' (Live - Cleveland), 'Action' (Live - Cleveland), 'Standing In The Light' (Live - Cleveland), 'Still Life' (Live - Germany/HOA Festival).

In addition, Breaker will be performing in Cleveland at the Jigsaw Saloon on Saturday, June 14th. Original vocalist Jim Hamar, who recently had vocal cord surgery and had to cancel his scheduled reunion shows with the band, has been recovering faster than expected.

Hamar was recently given the okay by his doctor to make a limited appearance on stage with the band for the Cleveland show. Auburn recording artists WRETCH, GROUND ZERO and LICK THE BLADE will support.

Breaker's current lineup consists of: Michael Klein (guitar), Don Depew (guitar), Nick Giannakos (guitar), Greg Wagner (vocals), Brook Hodges (bass) and Mark Klein (drums).

Upcoming Breaker shows:

26 - Hechingen, Germany - Bang Your Head!!! (festival warm-up show)
