BRET MICHAELS Soundtracks Top Gear Promo

According to Ann Donahue from Billboard.biz, POISON singer Bret Michaels is providing the promotional music for Top Gear, the History Channel's version of the popular British car show, which debuts on November 21.
Krista Liney, History's senior creative director, teamed with music production house Jingle Punks to get Michaels on board to make the branding music for the show.
"We wanted to give it an identity of its own - it needed to be big and fun," Liney says. "We wanted a person who can elevate the brand and who has credibility in the rock and roll scene."Michaels' music will be part of the trailer to promote the show, both on-air and online. In addition, he will be featured in a music video, and eventually the music will be on iTunes.
